The aim of the subject is to teach the students, through theoretical and practical learning, how to independently dissect given anatomical structures of the topographical regions of the head and neck of man. Independent dissection of the head and neck will give to the students much more detailed insight into the contents of the topographic regions, because during regular anatomy classes, the students learn from already done, dissected structures. In this way, they will better understand the relationship between individual structures in the topographic regions of the head and neck. For students of the 5th year, who are attending classes in surgery, otorhinolaryngology and maxillofacial surgery and stomatology, the anatomical dissection can only help to better recognize and locate certain anatomical structures that are of interest to them.
